Meet Dr. Travis Calhon
Dr. Travis Calhoun, DDS, is a general and restorative dentist who has been caring for patients in Asheville, North Carolina, since 1995. A true Asheville native, he grew up knowing he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. He attended the University of Georgia before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, then came home to build a practice rooted in the same values his father modeled: honest care, personal attention, and a genuine commitment to the people of western North Carolina. When he is not in the office, Dr. Travis can usually be found outside fishing, golfing, or enjoying the mountains he has called home his entire life, alongside his wife, Tara.
“It is my mission to treat everybody like they were my mom. I want to keep my skills at the absolute highest level so I can deliver the best dental care available. At the same time, we provide a laid-back, friendly atmosphere so that our patients are relaxed and have experiences with us that are as enjoyable as possible.”
